One day every holiday season, Roger Dale Glass opens their shop and home to the general public. The occasion is populated by invitation, and it’s well worth the 20-30 minute drive Southeast of Durango. If you’ve had the opportunity to witness the process of glass being hand blown, you know, it’s a seriously impressive process – especially when it’s performed with a high level of proficiency. That dedication to craft and technical proficiency is on display at Roger Dale’s studio. If you get the opportunity, and have an invitation in-hand (or know somebody that does), make the pilgrimage. It’s a day well spent and a fun way to fill in you’re holiday shopping list.
