A friend of mine posted one of my favorite animated videos from Radiohead on Facebook the other day. So I thought, why not. Let’s do a favorites list (plus I felt like messing around on YouTube this Friday morning). So here we go. Just a note: some of these rank as favorites based heavily on the song itself as well as the animation.

1. Starting it off with the rediscovery of this classic. Beautiful song, beautiful animation and using Flash to it’s fullest potential. Thanks Matt.

2. Song is classic Pearl Jam. Pointed and not, not contraversial. Animation directed by Todd McFarlane (creator of Spawn and some of the best Spider-Man comics ever created). Great match.

3. Another amazing song from Radiohead off of probably my favorite album of theirs. Odd animation is a perfect match, I think.

4. A little stop motion animation flavor for you. Can’t do an animated music video list without Tool. Can you?

5. Great Band. Great song. Fun Video. Always feel like I’m underwater when I watch a video in this style.

6. As if Legos weren’t awesome enough already. Animated Legos? Yes please.

7. All around amazing. It qualifies as animated, right? I mean, it is 3d animation isn’t it? Or are those real Björk clone robots? Whatever. Amazing.

8. If you’re skeptical about the last one being animated, here is another typically “off” Björk offering that certainly qualifies.

9. A little love for a Denver based group.

10. One of my favorite Chili Pepper songs. And yes, I bet Flea could jam out on some telephone wires.
